The following is a selection of ceramic wall plaques from the multi-talented Swedish designer Stig Lindberg (1916-1982). Most of these pieces were created for Gustavsberg, where Lindberg began working in 1937 under Wilhelm Kåge (1889-1960). In 1948 Lindberg was named Kåge's successor as art director and remained at the helm for Gustavsberg until 1980.
Yeah, I know this is not a plaque, but I just had to include it.
