It looks as though another mid-century architectural gem may end up as scrap; this time it is the former Beverly Hills residence of tract developer Herbert Kronish that is on the chopping block. Designed in 1955 by Richard Neutra, the 6,891 sq ft, 6 bedroom, 5.5 bath home was one of the largest residential projects completed by the Neutra office. The current owners have filed a "Demolition Permit" with the city of Beverly Hills, who has a poor track record when it comes to preserving architecture.
