Italian aritst Pippo Oriani (Turin, 1909 - Rome, 1972) was associated with the "second generation" of Futurism. He became involved in the Futurist movement after meeting Fillìa in 1927, who had established Futurism in Turin in 1923. While he was a major proponent for Futurism, his work was also heavily influenced by Cubism. Sadly, Pippo was killed in a car accident on December 8, 1972 while in Rome.
