Italian artist Mino Delle Site (1914-1996) participated in the Futurist's Aeropittura movement, which was launched in the 1929 manifesto titled, Perspectives of Flight. The manifest basically stated that depicting airplanes and aerial landscapes would be a great way to express and celebrate the movement's interest in speed, technology and machinery.
