These ceramic clocks produced by Howard Miller in the 1960's are often overlooked by Mid-Century enthusiasts searching for a period timepiece; choosing instead George Nelson's "Atomic" or "Sunburst" styles. So if you are looking for something different, but want to remain authentic, these might be what you are looking for.

Howard Miller produced ceramic clocks under the Meridian name in the 1960's. They were produced in Italy and distributed by Raymor. The designs are often misattributed to George Nelson Associates as they incorporated clock hands designed by them. I don't understand why Howard Miller doesn't reissue the Meridian line, as I am sure they would be very popular. They do come up on ebay or antique auctions from time to time (no pun intended), so keep an eye out, as they will make a great addition to your mid-century decor. The Design Addict Forum has some good threads about the Meridian clocks.
At the time of this post, Modern Living Supplies had 2 styles for sale; the Aldo Londi design and the #7542 design, both are available for $1,200.
