Julius Shulman's (1910-2009) photos recorded the work of virtually every modern architect since the 1930's. His approach to photographing architecture was unique in that he often placed people like props in his photos, which had never been done before. By doing so, Julius was able to capture an essence of "lifestyle" associated with the space in addition to the structure itself.
